One Cleveland Browns fan got his dying wish today as he headed to FirstEnergy Stadium to see his team take on the Pittsburgh Steelers for an all-important game.
Tom Seipel, who is currently on hospice after being diagnosed with kidney cancer three years ago, got a big surprise when he found out that fellow fans were helping to send him to today’s game.
He was treated to a great win as the team qualified for the postseason for the first time since 2002.
Browns fans covered the expenses and Mayfield offered up the suite.
“If I’m going to die freezing my butt off at FirstEnergy Stadium,” Seipel told Cleveland.com, “what a way to go out.”

“You don’t understand how much she kept in touch,” Seipel told the Cleveland outlet. “She would literally send me a message every night, ‘How are you feeling today?”
Emily Mayfield dialed up Baker after the game so Tom could express his joy over what just happened.
“I told you we were doing it,” Baker said.
