Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was known as “The People’s Champ” during his time in the WWE, but in 2019, he awarded San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle a similar and fitting moniker — “The People’s Tight End.”
Kittle is now a wealthy man after he inked a five-year, $75 million deal to ensure he remains with the 49ers through the 2025 season.
The Rock would take to Twitter and send his congratulation to the 49ers star.
Kittle was ecstatic:
“I turn around, and The Rock was stepping up onto the stage, goes chest to chest with me, and he goes, ‘What’s up, brother?'” Kittle shared in March. “I literally almost backed off the stage and fell. I had no idea. I probably let out a little yell … I couldn’t stop swearing.”

“I messed up like twice because I couldn’t even think straight,” Kittle added. “I was like, ‘I don’t even know where I am, right now. That’s The Rock, though.’
“Right afterward, I got to talk to him for about 30 seconds. He gave me a bottle of tequila (he has his own brand), got a photo with him, and then I was out the gate, and I didn’t see him again, so that was tough. But, I got to meet The Rock, which was cool.”
