After defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce could not wait to be ut in front of a microphone so he could get something off of his chest.
He called out Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval after he cited Joe Burrow’s 3-0 record against the Chiefs, but did so in a disrespectful way. When the Chiefs prevailed 23-20 to advance to the Super Bowl, Kelce channeled Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a WWE-style promo, telling the mayor, “Know your role and shut yo’ mouth, you jabroni!”
Kelce’s promo was loved by all fans, and that included the person he got it from.
Dwayne Johnson got a kick out of Kelce on stage, reacting to two clips of him calling out the mayor.

In the past, Johnson credited The Iron Sheik for creating he ‘Jabroni’ term, but he is the one who made it mainstream from his time in the WWE.
In the AFC Championship game, Kelce racked up seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs will need that and more from him when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
