Dwayne Haskins wife is still reeling from the loss of her husband and it will be quite sometime before she feels like a normal person again.
Haskins’ wife Kalabrya posted a beautiful tribute to Dwayne on what would’ve been his 25th birthday.
“King Wayne, God decided Simba needed a halo, instead of a crown for his mane,” Kalabrya wrote. “Life without you here brings so much pain. But today we celebrate your 25th reign. Your light was so bright, words can’t begin to explain how proud I am of the man you became.”
Haskins passed away last month after being struck by a dump truck while trying to cross a highway to get gas.
He played at Ohio State for two seasons before being taken by the Washington Commanders in the NFL Draft. His 2018 season with the Buckeyes was historic after he finished with 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions off of 4,831 yards passing.
