Kevin Porter Jr. may have his career in the NBA right now, but that may change fairly soon after what he allegedly did to his girlfriend.
Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested Monday and charged with assaulting his girlfriend in a New York hotel. a police report says he allegedly returned early Monday morning to the Millennium Hotel in Times Square, where he was staying with his girlfriend. She was upset about his late return and locked him out of the room.
After he gained access to the room via hotel security, he assaulted her. Porter is charged with assault and strangulation.
In the meantime, his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, has her sister by her side and she is ready to go to war behind this assault.
Kalabrya Haskins, who was married to the late Dwayne Haskins, took to Instagram and threatened violence against Porter for hurting her sister.

“We are in the process of gathering information surrounding the matter involving Kevin Porter Jr.,” a Rockets statement reads, per ESPN. “We have no further comment at this time.”
Porter was drafted with the No. 30 pick in the 2019 NBA draft out of the University of Southern California, but has developed into a star player for the Rockets. He had his best career season in 2022-23 with 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.
Gondrezick played college basketball for Michigan and West Virginia, before being drafted No. 4 overall in the 2021 WNBA draft by Indiana. She played one season for the Fever before being waived. She has not played the last two WNBA seasons and is currently a free agent.
Dwayne Haskins’ wife, Kalabrya, filed a lawsuit earlier this year alleging Haskins was drugged, blackmailed, and robbed before he was struck and killed by a dump truck in South Florida on April 9, 2022.
