Dwayne Haskins was already on thin ice, but decided to to turn that ice into water when photos showed him partying at a strip club some hours after the team lost to the Seattle Seahawks.
On Wednesday, the Washington Football Team decided to issue a $40,000 fine to Haskins for his actions. More importantly, the coaching staff chose to take away his captainship.
Haskins was asked about the punishment during his media session and said he “deserved it.”
The former first round NFL Draft pick admitted that this is probably his final chance in D.C.
“I want to publicly apologize for my actions this past Sunday,” Haskins wrote on Twitter. “I spoke with Coach Rivera yesterday and took full accountability for putting the team at risk. It was irresponsible and immature of me and I accept responsibility for my action.”

Washington is set to take on Carolina on Sunday.
