Dwayne Haskins likely did not mean to expose his former team, or maybe he did, but he did so during an interview on Wednesday.
Haskins, the former Washington Football Team first-round pick, was named the starter for Pittsburgh’s preseason finale and said he had been enjoying his time with the Steelers because of the way head coach Mike Tomlin has prepared him.
“I think Coach Tomlin does a great job as far as giving you a scouting report of who you’re playing that week,” Haskins said, via Josh Rowntree of 93.7 The Fan. “I’ve never really had that before.”
After reading that quote, analysts and fans were left wondering what was going on in Washington.
