The Chicago Bears are making a huge move this week amid their tumultuous season.
The Bears are bringing in some veteran help for their defensive backfield as they try to put together the right formula for their first win of the 2023 season.
The Chicago Bears are signing safety Duron Harmon off the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad and to their active roster. Harmon, a former third-round pick in 2013, spent his first seven years with the New England Patriots, where he won three Super Bowls.
The move comes as the Bears continue to deal with injuries in the secondary that includes safety Eddie Jackson, cornerback Jaylon Johnson, and nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon.
The Bears have been ravaged by injuries at defensive back, but that is the least of their problems for a team that cannot win a game in almost a year now.
Harmon is an 11-year veteran, who’s appeared in 161 games with 78 starts.
