The Miami Dolphins were not given a fair shake when they played the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.
The Eagles logged what was easily their most impressive win of the season in a 31-17 victory over the Dolphins on “Sunday Night Football” but it did not come without a ton of controversy.
One of the biggest missed plays was Eagles cornerback James Bradberry grabbing Cedrick Wilson Jr.’s facemask during a route in the third quarter. The move prevented Wilson from making an attempt to catch Tua Tagovailoa’s pass.
There’s no argument about it. It was a penalty. But the refs didn’t throw a flag.
On the next play, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a pick-six to Jerome Baker, in a move that many viewed as karma for the missed call.
Something fishy was going on all throughout this game as the Dolphins were flagged nine times compared to no penalties on the Eagles through over three-quarters of play. By the end of the game, the Dolphins would have 10 penalties for 70 yards and the Eagles did not have a single infraction.

It was so bad that social media did some digging on one ref named Duane Heydt who made multiple critical calls including a a hold that took a TD away and the roughing of the passer penalty on Christian Wilkins.
He has a sketchy past that includes his crew being suspended from the ACC championship game for unethical refereeing.
Fans also found out where he grew up and it is suspiciously close to Philadelphia.
This is something that truly needs to be investigated.
Jalen Hurts threw for 279 yards, threw two touchdown passes, and ran for a score to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a 31-17 win. The Super Bowl teams from last season, the champion Kansas City Chiefs and Eagles are the only 6-1 teams in the NFL.
Tagovailoa was 23 of 32 for 216 yards in his first head-to-head matchup against Hurts in the NFL.
