Deshaun Watson remains under investigation after being accused of sexual misconduct by more than 20 women, but his name continues to come up every month in trade discussions.
Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports got the ball rolling last week when he indicated the Dolphins were the “favorite” to trade for and acquire Watson.
NFL super agent Drew Rosenhaus is now adding more feul to the fire when he took to WVSN 7 News for his weekly segment and went so far as to say he “would not be surprised” to see Watson as a member of the Dolphins for the first game of the regular season.
“The Dolphins are absolutely working on this deal with the Texans,” Rosenhaus admitted on Sunday evening.
“The Dolphins are absolutely working on this deal with the Texans. There is obviously holdups with compensation — they want three first round picks, plus. It’s not going to happen while (Watson) has an uncertain legal future.

The Dolphins have to make sure that they have contingencies in the event that these legal issues become a serious problem. The Texans reportedly are not wavering from the fact that they want 3 first-round picks and 2 second-round picks.
If that trade were to happen, it does not appear it will be happening on this day, per Ian Rapoport.
