Drew Lock appeared to take a dig at Jalen Hurts following his impressive performance against the Eagles on Monday night.
The Seahawks quarterback won the ‘Monday Night Football’ fixture with a clutch drive and was pretty emotional thereafter, having failed to win a game in which he started since he was with the Broncos in 2020.
Speaking after the win, Lock admitted that he hadn’t experienced such a great feeling in a football game in a long time. But he seemed to take a cheeky shot at Hurts after possibly failing to find him in the wake of it all.
He was heard saying, “I guess he’s sick,” while walking away.
Hurts had not practiced over the weekend due to illness and fans were talking up a “flu game” after he arrived in Seattle on a separate flight from his teammates decked out in Jordan gear.
It didn’t quite work out that way.

Lock, on the other hand, put together a remarkable drive that won the night, completing five passes for 92 yards to give Seattle a 20-17 victory that keeps their season alive.
“Beautiful football. Just beautiful football,” head coach Pete Carroll said of the game-winning drive. “The poise we talked to you about last week.
“That’s where he’s been. He’s been on it. He’s been in command. There’s a couple incompletes in that drive, came right back and hit it, converted and made the first downs and all to throw the football to win the game. Amazing stuff.”
