The speculation and reports over whether Drew Brees played his final NFL game for the New Orleans Saints will likely continue all offseason until the future hall of fame QB makes his decision.
Tom Brady came out to embrace Brees after defeating him and even threw a pass to one of Brees’ children. There was also an awesome moment captured by FOX 8, in which you can see Brittany Brees sharing a moment with Drew as their kids ran around on the field.
The longtime Saints quarterback waved goodbye to the limited number of fans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and blew kisses to his family who was up in a suite watching the playoff game.
Brees had three interceptions in the loss. He added a touchdown pass and 134 passing yards.
If it was indeed his final game, the 42-year-old would retire as the all-time leader in passing yards with 80,358 and second in all-time passing touchdowns with 571.
