On Sunday, the Philadelphia will be nesting in New Orleans to take on the high-powered offense of the Saints who are lead by quarterback Drew Brees.
Eagles QB Nick Foles has a lot in common with Drew Brees, seeing as how both of them are from the state of Texas, and as luck would have it, also went to the same exact high school.
Westlake High School will forever be known as the school that produced two Super Bowl MVPs that will take on each other in the NFC Divisional matchup.
From 1992 to 1996, Brees was the man in Westlake as he accumulated a record of 28-0-1 and gave the high school their first & only state title.
Foles was on the team from 2003 to 2007, and while he didn’t win a state title, he decided to etch his name in the record books by surpassing Brees in both passing yards and TD passes in Westlake history.
On Sunday, one of the two will continue on their journey to possibly claim their second Super Bowl title.
