The magic that surrounded the Philadelphia Eagles with Nick Foles being in command of the offense came to a halt in New Orleans as the Saints scored 20 unanswered points to come out victorious.
Even so, the Eagles still had a shot at the end of the 4th quarter, but a Foles pass to Alshon Jeffrey would be dropped and intercepted which would end all of hopes of a repeat.
Following the loss, head coach Doug Pederson made sure to post up right outside the locker room to greet each and every player for a job well done during a crazy 2018 season for the defending champs.
The Eagles have a tough decision in the offseason that will likely end in a departure for Nick Foles, but he will always be a hero to the fans for bringing them their first ever Super Bowl trophy.
