As of Wednesday morning, there are over 401,000 confirmed cases of people with the coronavirus that includes 12,900+ deaths. It has not only gripped this nation, but other countries around the world as well.
When COVID-19 started to get real bad, cities and states around the country began closing places that they deemed nonessential and kept all the essential places like grocery stores open to the public. They gave way to people on social media making jokes about who were essential and who wasn’t.
That leads us to Donald Trump Jr. who took to his verified Facebook account and reposted a picture of former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick kneeling during a game, with the caption, “The most nonessential employee in American History.”
Trump Jr. captioned it, “Hard to argue…” to his followers on Twitter.
The original post came from Benny Johnson, who is described as “an American political columnist, currently serving as chief creative officer at conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA.”
This is hardly the first time Johnson has targeted Colin Kaepernick, having posted photoshopped pictures of him during the Super Bowl.
