For seven years, football fans have gotten accustomed to watching wide receiver Tyreek Hill break the ankles (figuratively), of the opposing defensive backs tasked with covering him.
But at his youth football camp in Miami, it was time for Hill to play victim of the ankle-breaking maneuver. Check out this viral clip below of a participant winning his one-on-one battle with the All-Pro receiver which landed him a hoodie.
The Miami Dolphins (and 31 other teams for that matter) may want to get to work in trying to recruit this fan as soon as possible. If he can break Hill’s ankles, there’s no telling how many other NFL defensive backs he could do that to.
After six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, Hill was traded to the Dolphins in March of last year. Hill then signed a four-year contract extension worth $120 million.
Hill is coming off the best season of his career in which he caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. Hill and fellow speedster Jaylen Waddle formed one of football’s elite receiving duos, and their efforts helped the Dolphins end a six-year playoff drought.
So far, the Hill trade looks like a win-win for both sides. The Chiefs went on to win Super Bowl 57 in year one of the post-Hill era, but the latter got the contract he wanted in Miami while piecing together his best statistical season.
