Tua Tagovailoa has taken one too many shots to the head and the latest one has him sidelined for the time being.
On Monday, it was announced that the Miami Dolphins QB is once again in concussion protocol after the team’s loss to the Packers on Sunday. This will no doubt put his status against the Patriots in jeopardy for Week 17.
The 24-year-old has already missed a few games after he was taken off the field on a stretcher after he was knocked unconscious earlier this year.
On Sunday, Tua Tagovailoa wound up with 310 yards and a TD in Sunday’s loss to the Packers, but his performance proved much worse than that. The majority of those yards came on a 84-yard TD to WR Jaylen Waddle and 52-yarder to Tyreek Hill.
He entered Sunday’s game off just 49.5% completions over his previous 3.
In 2022, Tagovailoa appeared in 13 games for the Dolphins and completed 64.8 percent of his passes for 3,548 yards with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
