Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had an interesting admission about how he’ll prepare for Saturday’s ice-cold temperatures against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night.
Per Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald, the fourth-year quarterback told reporters that he won’t be wearing gloves for Saturday’s Super Wild Card Round Round showdown at Arrowhead Stadium against the defending champions.
As noted by James Palmer of NFL Network, the game is currently slated to play in conditions of minus-4 and minus-7, which would mark both the coldest game in Arrowhead history and Dolphins franchise history.
Tua and the Dolphins aren’t used to such conditions, given that they play in one of the country’s warmest climates. But No. 1 doesn’t seem too worried about the conditions, as evidenced by his firm belief that gloves won’t be required.
Tagovailoa and the Dolphins are aiming to deliver the franchise its first playoff victory since the 2000 Wild Card Round.
