The Miami Dolphins have been one of the busier teams during the offseason, adding names like Byron Jones, Emmanuel Ogbah, Ereck Flowers, Jordan Howard, Kyle Van Noy and Shaq Lawson in free agency.
They don’t seem to be done either.
With Tom Brady out of the AFC East, the division appears to be wide open and the Dolphins want to be the one to take it over.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have interest in trading up for LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to take him with the No. 1 overall pick.
Via the Miami Herald:
“They’re making moves and spending money but people within the organization remain focused on the goal of drafting a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 draft.
The Dolphins want to trade up to grab Joe Burrow with the first overall selection, if possible. They will make that attempt.”
The report goes on to say that if that fails, then the team will choose between Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert.
