Miami Dolphins fans were in a full state of panic after Tua Tagovailoa was carted off to the locker room with a rib injury after taking a hit from Buffalo Bills defensive end AJ Epenesa during Miami’s second drive of Sunday’s game.
He collapsed to the ground before he got to the Dolphins’ sideline. Tagovailoa briefly sat on the bench before being carted to the locker room.
The Dolphins said he was questionable to return.
Soon after the injury, his x-rays would come back and show nothing was broken.
The 22-year-old was selected with the No. 5 overall pick out of Alabama in 2020 by the Dolphins.
