One player on the Miami Dolphins made a bad impression on his teammates.
The Detroit Lions won their first playoff game since the 1991 season one night after the Dolphins lost at Kansas City. So now it’s the Dolphins with the longest active losing playoff streak, which stretched to 23 seasons with the 26-7 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night.
After losing the game, the Kansas City Chiefs locker room was celebrating the win but one player was missing because he was in the opposing team’s locker room.
According to the Sun Sentinel’s Chris Perkins, Kansas City Chiefs player Chris Jones was in the Dolphins locker room – along with former Chiefs pass rusher Tamba Hali – to visit with Dolphins pass rusher Justin Houston.
Jones, Houston, and Hali are all longtime friends, but some Dolphins players were pissed about them being in their space.
“I would have told them to get the (expletive) out,” one offensive player told Perkins on Monday as the Dolphins were cleaning out their lockers.
“That would have had me hot.”

The Miami Dolphins added pass rusher Justin Houston less than a week ago ahead of their AFC Wild Card game against the Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Houston’s NFL career began after being chosen in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. In eight seasons in Kansas City, he had 78 1/2 sacks, and he was teammates with Mahomes in 2017 and 2018.
In the Wild Card game, he had 1 tackle.
