Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has finally opened up on those rife vaping accusations.
The Dolphins made it to the playoffs last season for the first time since 2016, with McDaniels coaching them through to the postseason in his first year even without starting quarterback Tua Tagovaiola towards the end, as well as other significant injuries to defensive players.
Rookie QB Skylar Thompson started for Miami against the Buffalo Bills and almost got them past Josh Allen and Co. as the Bills only won marginally.
Mike McDaniel Sounds Off On The Vaping Accusations
As big as the game was for the Fins, the headlines were all about McDaniel as it appears he was caught vaping on the sideline.
The head coach was quizzed on the incident during an interview on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take. McDaniel claimed to have no idea what vaping is in a hilarious exchange but said enough to amount to an admission as he noted that the attention it got him was a clear indication that he should never vape again.

The Dolphins’ prospects for next season look great as Tua has recovered and should be better able to avoid injuries given his jiu-jitsu training.
They have also made a key addition to their secondary with the acquisition of Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey, while they’re thought to be keen on signing running back Dalvin Cook once the Minnesota Vikings release him.
