The Miami Dolphins are surely showing the entire NFL how to properly tank a season.
Kenyan Drake is the Dolphins’ leading rusher and leading receiver, so that is more than enough for the team to want to part ways with him since he excells at doing his job.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins have had trade conversations with teams centered around their star running back and would unload him for the right price. Basically draft picks.
The report goes on to state that the Dolphins haven’t had any extension talks with Drake since camp.
The 25-year-old is currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.5 million contract and is in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
So far in 2019, he has racked up 153 yards rushing on 41 carries to go along with 19 receptions for 137 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
