Earlier this offseason, there were rumors floating around that Deebo Samuel could be on the move as he made it clear he was searching for a realtor in Miami. That led to a ton of speculation about his future.
That tweet from March is now gaining even more traction after he demanded a trade from the 49ers.
“#Faithful I train in Miami that’s why I asked for a realtor down there I’m not going nowhere……. Calm down,” Samuel tweeted on March 9.
By the end of March and early April, things had drastically changed.

Samuel is in the final year of his rookie contract.
The Miami Dolphins gave up five draft picks, including 2022 first- and second-rounders, to acquire Hill and sign him to a four-year, $120 million extension.
Samuel has not been willing to engage in talks, in large part because the “root” of his issue is not money. The Pro Bowler reportedly has displeasure with the way he’s used within the 49ers offense.
Samuel was one of the most uniquely utilized players in the NFL last season. He recorded 77 receptions for 1,405 yards along and carrying the ball an additional 59 times for 365 yards. He also scored a combined 14 touchdowns.
