Seattle Seahawks’ star wide receiver D.K. Metcalf was once again penalized in Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals for an unnecessary cheap shot.
During the first half, a frustrated Metcalf shoved Cincinnati cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt to the ground, and he was issued a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness:
Metcalf is one of the game’s top wide receivers, but this isn’t the first time where he’s lost his cool during a game that resulted in a penalty. In Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams, he drew a $21,854 fine for a hit on Ahkello Witherspoon.
Penalties like this can’t be happening, let alone on a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
