The New York Jets’ record may not indicate it, but the team does still have a ton of talent on their roster.
Guys like Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson and Quinnen Williams tend to get most of the attention, but cornerback D.J. Reed has quietly established himself as one of the top defenders in the NFL this season.
Reed doesn’t need everyone to be hyping him up in the media to understand just how good he’s been. He has plenty of confidence in himself, and he made viewers well aware of that fact during his player introduction for Sunday Night Football.
When it was time to announce his school, Reed simply said, “HIM University.”

Reed will look to live up to his proclamation tonight, as he looks to keep his team in it against Patrick Mahomes and a high-powered Chiefs offense.
