New angles show that the officials may have been correct in claiming that D.J. Moore stepped out of bounds on a play during the third quarter of the Chicago Bears’ win over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night.
Moore had a monster game for the Bears on the night, making eight receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns. But his stat line could have been even sweeter had he not been adjudged to have stepped out of bounds on a long catch-and-run during said period.
Prime Video did not end up showing a replay, leaving fans questioning whether the wide receiver did in fact touch the chalk, while many were in doubt and accused the refs of robbing him of a TD.
Moore was vocal about the call after the game as well.
“That really pissed me off because I was about to score,” he said. “I could’ve had four touchdowns. The ref’s got to do his job, it is what it is, we got the win so I’m not too mad.”
Since then, some photos have surfaced on social media suggesting Moore could have been out of bounds in truth, though they still aren’t definitive.

Close, right? But at least the call didn’t have an impact on the outcome of the game as the Bears won comfortably.
