Tee Higgins was spotted walking with his arm around his mother following the collision that left Damar Hamlin in critical condition.
While the entire league sweats over Hamlin, the situation is a bit different for Higgins as he was the one involved in the play occurring right before the Buffalo Bills’ safety collapsed. Of course, no one is at fault for this; it was purely incidental. But Higgins is likely feeling all sorts of emotions as uncertainty looms over Hamlin.
The Bengals WR needed the support of his mother following Monday night’s events and was photographed holding her as they walked.
As for Hamlin’s condition, there’s not much to go on besides that the player is “fighting.” There is optimism as it pertains to his recovery, while the league and its fans continue to pray.
Hamlin was drafted out of the sixth round by the Bills in 2021. He became a starting safety for the team in 2022, following a season-ending neck injury to Micah Hyde in Week 2.
