The 2022 NFL season will mark the final year that DirecTV will have ownership of the NFL Sunday Ticket broadcasting service, but it seems they cannot wait to be done with it, becasue the service has been terrible.
Across the country, NFL fans were pissed at DirecTV due to the many issues with NFL Sunday Ticket. It ruined a ton of people’s day.
Instead of live football, fans using DirectTV’s streaming service were met with a “could not connect to server” error and a message from the provider that it was working to resolve the issue:
“Sorry about the interruption. We’re working addressing the problem ASAP.”
PFT would get ahold of DirecTV and they would formally issue an apology on the matter.
Here’s what a DirecTV spokesman told PFT via email: “While NFL Sunday Ticket on our traditional satellite service performed as expected over the past two weeks, some consumers were temporarily unable to stream. We apologize to our customers for this experience and for any inconvenience.”

DirectTV representatives did respond to users on social media during the outage that technicians were working to resolve the issue.
Enough of the apologies, just fix the service and get out of the business when the time comes.
