Diontae Johnson is not having it with his name being slandered.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Star WR saw his name trending on Friday and it came from a report from Gregg Giannotti of the Boomer & Gio show that stated he punched QB Mitch Trubisky in the face prior to their Week 4 showdown with the Jets.
Giannotti was told from a “buddy in Pittsburgh” that the incident went down in the locker room. Trubisky was benched at the end of the first half of the Jets-Steelers game.
“That’s part of the reason Trubisky ended up getting benched because there was this horrible interaction between the two of them,” Giannotti said.
Johnson would take to Twitter and refute the report.

Johnson followed up this tweet by saying, “Damn shame.” He also referred to this report as “Fake News.”
If you’re going to deny something, that is how you do it.
Diontae Johnson had 86 catches for 882 yards in 17 games this past season for a Steelers team that finished the year 9-8 and just missed the playoffs.
