NFL fans are roasting a player following the New England Patriots signing him to a deal, simply because of his name.
The Pats have announced adding linebacker Diego Fagot to their roster following his workout with the team in Foxboro on Monday.
The 25-year-old, a former Navy inside LB, started his NFL career after getting an invite to rookie minicamp by the Baltimore Ravens, having gone undrafted last year. He earned an offer from the team but was ultimately waived.

Fagot is a two-time first-team All-American Athletic Conference player. He recorded 94 tackles last season and was selected as the Shrine Bowl defensive MVP, also putting together an impressive 282 tackles, 9.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, five recoveries, and two interceptions in 42 games for Navy.
The terms of his deal with the patriot were not disclosed.
