Taylor Swift’s recent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidential election has become the talk of the town. While many of her fans might start to support Harris, the infamous businessman Elon Musk has different opinions, leading to much more discussion. Donald Trump’s richest endorser entered the conversation and took a controversial stand against the famous American singer.
Amid this controversy, an X post is being circulated that showcased Swift’s partner Travis Kelce’s response to Musk’s cryptic comment. Moreover, the post garnered significant attention from fans, believing that it was a real comment from the Kansas City Chiefs star. The post read:
“I’m 6’5″ and actually play football. The fact I went to college and got a degree and worked hard might be lost on you. I don’t play backgammon but I do play chess. I could also twist you into a pretzel.”
However, that’s not all that is interesting in this controversy. The viral X post from @theAbinKC, which has a screenshot of Travis Kelce’s X post, is certainly misleading and doesn’t really have real comments from Kelce. Instead, the Kansas City Chiefs star didn’t post anything on his social media handles about Musk’s comments on his partner.
The infamous businessman’s comments on Swift came after she openly endorsed Harris for the upcoming US Presidential election. Musk wrote on his X handle, “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

Notably, Musk’s tweet referenced a comment from Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance, who had criticized the leadership by calling it run by “childless cat ladies.” Swift had used the term “Childless Cat Lady” in her endorsement post.
Although Kelce, who has indicated endorsing Harris just like Swift, did not actually take to social media to reply to Musk for trolling his partner, he did respond to the famous businessman.
Travis Kelce’s Real Response To Elon Musk’s Comments On Taylor Swift
On episode 100 of their podcast “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, accompanied by his brother Jason Kelce, humorously mocked Musk. Jason joked about Musk’s Cyber Truck, saying it short-circuits in car washes. He commented, “I think it’s like they didn’t seal something properly or something like that, but it did rain once, and the car door kept opening when I parked it until it dried.”
Meanwhile, Travis had an even more sarcastic reply as he added by saying, “I don’t read on the Cyber Truck news. Why’s that?” Their playful banter showed their comedic chemistry and subtly supported Swift amidst the online reactions to her political endorsement.
Whenever celebrities say or do something, it seems to blow up instantly online. The recent hype around Taylor Swift, Elon Musk, and Travis Kelce is a perfect example. Rumors and fake tweets spread like wildfire, but the Kelce brothers joked their way through it. Their humor kept things calm and showed they supported Swift. It’s a good reminder that sometimes cracking a joke is the best way to handle online criticism and support your friends.
