Mike Ditka once again made his stance clear when the former NFL head coach and Hall of Fame tight end doubled down this week with a very blunt message for those who kneel during the national anthem.
Speaking to Newsmax TV on Monday, the 80-year-old made his stance very clear. “If you can’t respect this country, get the hell out of it,” Ditka said on National Report.
“It’s not a complicated thing,” he said. “You play the game, you enjoy the game, if you don’t like the game, get out of it.”
Former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant issued a response to Ditka, saying someone needs to sit down with the former coach.
“Somebody need to go have a sit down with Mike Ditka…No arguing But explain to him what’s going on…Feeling entitled at its finest,” Bryant said on Twitter.
