Anybody expecting Dez Bryant to return to a football field anytime soon can go ahead and pump their brakes.
On Twitter, a fan posted about Dez Bryant going through a similar situation that Ezekiel Elliott is currently going through after he was trying to get a new deal.
That made Dez jump on Twitter and state this:
“This exactly why I don’t have no interest in playing football right now. I have not reached out to no organization trying to play … people forget real quick we are still human.”
He added, “My anxiety and depression came from this type of stuff … what I realized nobody care but me.”

Saying he has no interest is much different in stating that he was done with football altogether.
“I’m not retiring bro,” he said. “I’m just taking care of myself… that’s a promise.”
Bryant also confirmed in the series of tweets that teams have reached out to him.
The 30-year old was in the 3rd year of his 5-year contract that included $45 million guaranteed and was set to make base salaries of $12.5 million over the final 2 years when the Cowboys elected to release him last offseason.
The New Orleans Saints would go on to sign him to a 1-year deal in the middle of the season, but he suffered an unfortunate torn Achilles that ended his season.
He remains an unrestricted free agent.
Back in 2017, Bryant hauled in 66 catches for 814 yards while catching six touchdowns.
