Cam Newton did not have the best year of his career last season, but he is a well liked player in the league for what he has accomplished on the field and off of it.
He was proving how good off the field he was this week while holding a football camp for young players. Unfortunately, one of the young players used that opportunity to try and go viral by trash talking the free agent QB.
The young man taunts Newton for being a “free agent” and “poor.”
Whatever the kid thought he was doing backfired once the video made its way to social media, because not only are fans blasting him, but so far are other NFL players for his disrespectful actions.
“Cam you should have sent his ass home,” Dez Bryant wrote.

“Cam a better man than me,” longtime NFL offensive lineman Kyle Long said.
“It blows my mind cause im sure that kid wants to be a Heisman trophy winner or a draft pick an Cam did both!!” cornerback Darius Slay wrote.
