There are two notable wide receivers that have been talked about being moved for weeks, and their final destination has become even more clear after the Dallas Cowboys traded for Houston Texans veteran WR Brandin Cooks.
Following the deal, New York Jets beat reporter Rich Cimini noted that “this seemingly removes the Cowboys from the Odell Beckham sweepstakes.”
That is simply great news for a team that is coming off a Super Bowl win.
Taking to Twitter Sunday, former Cowboys WR Dez Bryant said that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if both Odell Beckham and DeAndre Hopkins found themselves on the Chiefs roster.
The Chiefs have maintained interest in Beckham throughout the offseason with a clear need at wide receiver after JuJu Smith-Schuster signed with the Patriots.
The Arizona Cardinals have been looking to move DeAndre Hopkins all offseason. Hopkins – if traded – will cause Arizona to eat $22.6 million in dead cap space but would save $8.15 million in 2023 salary.

The Cardinals are currently beginning their process of a rebuild and Hopkins likely wants to go play for an organization that can compete within the next few years.
Hopkins and Odell on a team that already has Travis Kelce would be completely unfair.
