Dez Bryant hasn’t played a down of football since the 2017 season, following his release from the Dallas Cowboys and him waiting to find the right contract and team to sign with.
His willingness to wait ultimately cost him on the practice field with the New Orleans Saints when he tore his Achilles and his season was over before it really ever began.
On Thursday, the former Cowboys and Saints receiver took to Twitter and seemed to not only suggest he wouldn’t be back with the Saints, but made a claim at what type of WR his next squad would be getting.
The 30-year-old Bryant averaged 91 receptions for 1,311 yards and nearly 14 touchdowns per season from 2012-2014.
Injuries would slow him down, and during his last full year with the Cowboys in 2017, he would register 69 grabs for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
