The last time Dez Bryant played on a football field in a regular season game, it was 2017 and he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys. The 29-year-old would soon be released during that proceeding offseason, but wouldn’t actually sign with a team until November of 2018 when the New Orleans Saints gave him a 1-year deal.
It would end disastrously once he tore his Achilles during his very first practice and it seemed to put his career in doubt.
Now he’s 30-years-old and still unsigned as we get closer to the 2019 season, but Dez isn’t quite sweating signing with a team.
He took to Twitter recently and explained why he focus has been elsewhere lately.
Not exactly the type of answer that general managers want to hear from a former all-pro who’s looking for another shot in the league.
