Warren Sapp, who won a Super Bowl with the Bucs in 2003, was not happy with a play from Devin White during a recent game.
Sapp made some headlines earlier this week when he told the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star linebacker to take the ‘C’ off his chest.
“I want you to watch the effort of the captain right here, No. 45,” Sapp said. “How do you show up with your defense on Monday morning with this type of effort? I’d ask for your C off your chest.”
The video he posted showed a bad play from Devin White in a 27-22 loss Thursday to the Ravens.
White finished the game with 10 tackles, but the defense allowed 453 yards.
Days later, White would be asked about recent criticism from Bucs legend and Hall of Famer Warren Sapp regarding his effort in last Thursday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

“The people that know football know what’s going on,” White said.
After a strong start that earned him NFC Defensive Player of the Month honors for September, White has struggled alongside the rest of the defense. Both sides of the ball cannot get it together and it has led to a terrible season so far.
The team has lost three games in a row and sits at 3-5 heading into this Sunday’s contest against the Los Angeles Rams.
