The Giants-Dolphins showdown has long been over, but the war of words between players doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
Following Miami’s 20-9 win over New York on Sunday, in which Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 73 percent of his passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns, Giants cornerback Logan Ryan made an eye-popping comment about Tua while referencing his own high school days under center.
“I can throw 2-yard passes to the left. I’m accurate,” Ryan said.
Tagovailoa’s teammates certainly took the words personally – especially DeVante Parker.
The Dolphins receiver replied to an Instagram post from Bleacher Report’s Gridiron account.
“Hold that L boi keep quiet,” Parker responded.
