Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams just hurt his squad in the worst way.
Williams is in the midst of a breakout season in 2024, but the Detroit Lions wide receiver is now reportedly facing a two-game suspension.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, his suspension may be due to a violation of the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances policy.
Jameson Williams spoke out and expressed his disappointment with the suspension, but he said he had “no choice but to take it on the chin.”
“I’m in good spirits just ready to get back with the my brothers ASAP soon as possible,” Williams told ESPN.

Jameson Williams Was A Non-Factor On Sunday, But Doesn’t Take Away From His Remarkable Season
Jameson Williams was invisible on Sunday.
Williams brought in his only target for minus-4 yards in the Lions’ 31-29 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
The third-year wideout had come into the division clash with a two-game touchdown streak and at least 76 receiving yards in four of his first five games of the season.
Maybe he knew something was coming from the league, and his mind was elsewhere.
Sunday marked his second game where he only had one reception.
Jameson Williams was definitely considered a candidate to bounce back with a home matchup against the Titans next Sunday, but with a suspension looming, it looks like he’ll be sitting for weeks.
So far in 2024, he has appeared in six games for the Lions and caught 17 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns, along with four carries for 32 yards.
