The last time the franchise was playing this good was in 1991 when the season ended with Detroit boasting a 12-4 record and a rousing playoff win over the Cowboys before a divisional-round defeat.
The Lions are already 2.5 games ahead of the Green Bay Packers in the North, and if the playoffs started today, they would be the No. 3 overall seed. Detroit also currently holds the second-longest active winning streak at four, with only the Chiefs holding a longer edge.
Things are trending in the right direction for the Lions.
