It was just a few months ago that Kyler Murray shunned Major League Baseball to take his talents to the National Football League.
He saw himself as a #1 pick and he was right as the Arizona Cardinals selected him and traded their other top-10 pick in Josh Rosen to South Beach to play with the Miami Dolphins.
On Thursday, the former Oklahoma Sooners QB inked his rookie deal and the details relased shows he made a damn good decision to stick with football.
As the No. 1 overall pick, Murray’s initial deal is a four-year contract worth $35.2 million, including a $23.59 million signing bonus and a 2019 salary cap number of $6.39 million.
Imagine making that much money at 21-years-old.
