Russell Wilson is a paid man.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback and his agent gave the front office until April 15th to give him a new contract or risk not seeing him sign and leaving after his contract with them was finished. It took until the early morning hours of April 16th, but the two sides finally got a deal done.
Wilson snagged a four-year, $140 million contract extension, which includes a $65 million signing bonus that will keep him in Seattle until he’s 35-years-old.
