New details have emerged on the jaw-dropping prices some companies are paying FOX to air a commercial during Super Bowl 59 on Feb. 9.
FOX is set to air the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady and Erin Andrews will be on the call for the rematch of the Chiefs’ thrilling 38-35 win in Super Bowl 57.
According to ESPN, FOX has already sold “at least 10” Super Bowl 59 commercials for the jaw-dropping price of $8 million. The advertisement lineup includes Uber Eats, Frito-Lay, Taco Bell, Meta, PepsiCo and Anheuser-Busch, per the report.
A 30-second commercial for Super Bowl 58 between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers last year cost $7 million. To put today’s prices in perspective, a commercial for Super Bowl 1 back in 1967 cost $37,500, or roughly $349,000 today.
It’s a lot of money, yes. But with over 100 million people across the world tuning into Super Bowl 59, major companies like the ones listed above know they have a wide audience to appeal to here.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have opened as a slight 1.5-point favorite over Saquon Barkley’s Eagles. With a victory, Kansas City would complete the first three-peat in Super Bowl history, as well as the first in the four major North American professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB) since the 2000-02 Los Angeles Lakers.

Super Bowl 59 Has The Makings To Be A Classic
Super Bowl 57 was certainly among the best games ever played, but the controversial holding call against James Bradberry put a damper on the thrilling ending.
Don’t be surprised if the rematch is even better. Saquon Barkley, Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell, Jalen Carter, Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and Xavier Worthy headline the list of superstars who weren’t involved in Super Bowl 57, but you know they’ll all make an impact one way or another.
