Detailed Offers From Panthers, Washington, & Colts Released In Possible Trade For Matt Stafford

Matt Stafford had a ton of possible suitors once the Lions made it known that he wanted a trade out of the organization.

The Lions gave him what he wanted when they sent Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams for Jared Goff and several draft picks.

On Monday, Sports Illustrated NFL insider Albert Breer shared some details on the other offers made for Stafford.

*Panthers offered No. 8 pick + a late round choice.
*Washington offered No. 19 & a 3rd rounder.
*Colts never offered No. 21 but discussed other packages.
*49ers never made an official offer
*Jets checked in but talks didn’t go far.

As you can see, the Rams gave up Jared Goff, two first-round picks, and a third-round pick in the mega deal.

Stafford nwo joins a team that is primed and ready to make a deep run in the playoffs, something he has never been able to do in Detroit with three Wild Card losses in 3 playoff appearances in his 12-year career.
