The Houston Texans have their new general manager.
The Houston Texans were relentless in their pursuit for Nick Caserio, who spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and his last eight have been under the role of director of player personnel.
Caserio agreed to a six-year contract that makes him one of the three highest-paid general managers in the league.
On Friday, the team introduced him to the local media, but much of the talk was more about the unhappiness of QB Deshaun Watson. During that, Watson’s agent sent out a cryptic tweet that he would soon delete.
He then tried to explain his tweet was about politics, and not football.
“Haha actually a reference to politics this time. Everything isn’t about football guys… but hey whatever gets clicks I guess.”
