Brett Favre should’ve probably sat this one out.
The Pro Football Hall of fame QB offered some strong words regarding Deshaun Watson’s current situation with the Texans. Unfortunately for Favre — Watson’s agent did not like it.
David Mulugheta responded to Favre’s recent criticism of Watson’s request to be traded out of Houston.
“You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job, and just do it, and let the chips fall where they may,” Favre told Yahoo Sports. “I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong. Again, I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”
“Brett should probably stop throwing stones from that glass house he’s sitting in,” Mulugheta wrote via Twitter.
Mulugheta and many others are clearly alluding to reported trade requests Favre made during the end of his run with the Packers. He was reportedly upset that the team was unwilling to trade a fifth-round pick to acquire Randy Moss.
