In the latest news to shock the NFL world, earlier today it was announced that Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson would not be facing criminal charges following accusations of sexual assault from several of his massage therapists.
In a statement from the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, it was announced that the “grand jury was presented all the evidence and had the opportunity to hear from all witnesses, grand jurors declined to indict Deshaun Watson.”
Almost immediately following the news, several people close to the matter took to social media to speak out on the grand jury’s decision, including Watson himself.
With this case now behind them, Watson’s agent also took to social media to share his thoughts on the outcome. Shortly after the news broke, David Mulugheta hoped on Twitter and wrote four simple words: “Keep the same energy…”

Mulugheta is likely to be a busy man over the next few days, as he and the Houston Texans organization will be dealing with a ton of possible suitors for a Watson trade.
According to recent reports, there are at least 10 teams that are interested in Watson’s services, and it wouldn’t surprise us if there’s more. It’s not often that a young, elite quarterback with Watson’s skillset is made available.
