The Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns held a joint practice this week ahead of the team’s preseason matchup and there are many things coming out of the joint session that has Deshaun Watson fighting back on what is being said about him.
Deshaun Watson is calling out a reporter who said the Eagles’ defense got the best of him in a training camp practice ahead of their preseason game.
When a Philadelphia Eagles reporter tweeted about the team he covers “definitely got the better” of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson in a joint Browns-Eagles training camp practice ahead of the teams’ preseason meeting on Thursday, the QB promptly got n social media and posted an emoji of a cap, which means it was a lie.
“Deshaun Watson Training Camp Stats vs Eagles defense: The Eagles defense definitely got the better of Watson during the joint practices,” Shorr-Parks wrote. “The pass rush definitely got the better of Watson as he was really only effective in 7v7, not 11v11. The Eagles’ pressure forced Watson into some bad decisions, and in two days, they ended up picking him off as many times as they allowed INTs.”
It should be noted Shorr-Parks noted the three-time Pro Bowler went 17-of-33 passing for three touchdowns and three interceptions during the two days of work.
